Alamo Elementary School, founded in 1926, is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence located in central Richmond District in San Francisco, CA. The school serves up to 540 students, from kindergarten to fifth grade. Alamo’s goal is to provide a rich, rewarding education to our students delivered by our highly qualified teachers, staff and community volunteers.

GET INVOLVED

Alamo has a deep and dedicated community of parent volunteers.  Volunteering is a great way to support your child’s school experience while forging lasting relationships with the families in your community.  Volunteer opportunities both great and small abound at Alamo.  Contact your child’s teacher, the school administration or one of our parent bodies to find the right volunteership fit for your time and interests.

DONATE

In partnership with Alamo’s PTA, the Friends of Alamo School Foundation raises hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to preserve the programming our students and families value most.  Visit the Fundraising link above to explore ways to support the effort.
