About Alamo School

Alamo Elementary School, founded in 1926, is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence located in Central Richmond District in San Francisco, CA. The school serves students from transitional kindergarten to fifth grade, including students with moderate to severe autism. Alamo’s goal is to provide a rich, rewarding education to our students delivered by our highly qualified teachers, staff and community volunteers.

Lloyd Schine

Mr. Schine Memorial

Lloyd Schine was a beloved 5th grade teacher who, along with his wife, Lorna, passed away in a tragic car accident on November 11, 2010. A memorial was placed in the front of the school in 2013.
